The name’s Laurel!
I grew up in the little town of Edinburg, located in the Shenandoah Valley—somewhere I’ll always call home. While I love my hometown more than I could ever express on an About page, the experiences Richmond has provided me only make me more thrilled to express myself through each project I create.
…pronounced like Carl, not Coral. I’m an art director by day and an art director by night (it’s the closest I could get to composing an orchestra of paintbrushes. Buh dum tss). I’m a Brandcenter student studying art direction and a recent graduate from VCU, where I majored in Mass Communications with a concentration in Creative Advertising.
Alongside this, I work as a graphic designer at The Idea Center—a digital marketing agency in downtown Richmond, Virginia.
